Do I need to see a psychologist?
That depends on what you want and the level of expertise you are looking for. Psychologists can assess, diagnose, and treat mental health concerns. They also typically have doctoral level training. This is the highest level of expertise you can get.
But this might not be what you need. You might be able to find another professional (e.g., a psychotherapist or psychological associate) with less formal training, who has the level of expertise you need.

Yes!
Do I need a doctor's referral before contacting you?
Nope.
How much does it cost?
For now, Dr. Taylor's rate is $265 per hour for individuals and $280 for couples. The cost of the service will depend on how many hours it takes to complete the service. We also offer lower cost and free service options. To find more about costs for services, click here.
Are fees covered by OHIP?
No, our fees are not covered by OHIP.
Can I be reimbursed by my insurance?
Yes! Since all the services are provided by a psychologist, most extended health plans offer by employers and educational institutions will cover all or part of the cost of our services. And we offer direct billing!
